This kitchen transformation reimagined a space that had remained largely unchanged for decades, creating a warm, inviting kitchen designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living. The homeowners envisioned a space rich with character that would feel both timeless and true to the rest of their home. Existing elements they loved—such as the dining nook wallpaper and the warm wood tones found throughout their furnishings—guided the selection of finishes that feel both timeless and cohesive. 

Working closely together, the homeowners and designer thoughtfully planned the function of every cabinet around the family's routines, entertaining style, and both traditional and kosher cooking, ensuring everything had a purposeful place. Reworking an awkward angled wall created space for a larger island, improving circulation and creating a natural gathering place for family and guests. 

Rustic cherry cabinetry celebrates the beauty of natural wood with distinctive knots, mineral streaks, and character marks, while an arched range hood anchors the space. Custom details—including a welcoming plate rack, wet bar, coffee bar, floating display shelves, and an arched niche—create opportunities to showcase family heirlooms, treasured finds, and memories, resulting in a kitchen that is as thoughtfully functional as it is warm, timeless, and personal.
